Fabrics & Materials

  • The Pudl Suit uses recycled polyester for the shell.
  • The Pudl Suit uses recycled sherpa fleece for the removable lining.
  • The Pudl Suit's outer layer is treated with a PFA-free C0 Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating.

Care Guide

  • Wash gently, not often. Use a technical cleaner like Nikwax Tech Wash or Grangers Performance Wash. Never use regular detergent or fabric softener as they block breathability and strip waterproofing.
  • Zip, clip, and turn inside out. Close all zips, Velcro and straps, then turn your Pudl Suit inside-out before washing. It protects the outer coating and zips.
  • Low heat is your friend. Tumble dry on low heat or gently iron with a cloth to reactivate the DWR coating.
  • Reproof when water stops beading. If rain starts soaking into the fabric, it’s time to refresh your DWR. Use Nikwax TX-Direct or Grangers Repel Spray while the suit is clean and damp.
  • Store dry and loose. Never pack away your suit damp - hang it somewhere cool and airy to preserve the waterproof membrane.

Removable Fleece Lining
