Pudl Care Guide
The Pudl Suit is built to last but like any performance gear, it needs a little care to keep doing its job. Here’s how to make sure it protects you for years to come
STEP 1
Wash Gently, Not Often
Use a technical cleaner like Nikwax Tech Wash or Grangers Performance Wash. Never use regular detergent or fabric softener as they block breathability and strip waterproofing.
STEP 2
Zip, Clip & Turn Inside Out
Close all zips, Velcro and straps, then turn your Pudl Suit inside-out before washing. It protects the outer coating and zips.
STEP 3
Low Heat Is Your Friend
Tumble dry on low heat or gently iron with a cloth to reactivate the DWR coating.
STEP 4
Reproof When Water Stops Beading
If rain starts soaking into the fabric, it’s time to refresh your DWR. Use Nikwax TX-Direct or Grangers Repel Spray while the suit is clean and damp.
STEP 5
Store Dry and Loose
Never pack away your suit damp - hang it somewhere cool and airy to preserve the waterproof membrane.
